About

A calm, compassionate, trauma informed counselor.

Hi, I’m Jessica. As an EMDR trained and IFS informed clinician, my specialty is the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma and dissociative disorders in individuals. I also work with depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorders, exploring neurodivergence, PMDD, identity exploration, grief and loss and parent skills training.

I strive to create a calming, safe space and have a more gentle approach, though I will challenge you to do very hard work at a pace that feels safe for you. Compassion, curiosity, and mindfulness are some of my favorite tools.

I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon and hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH60844519) as well as in Oregon State (C10986). I have worked in a variety of settings over the past 16 years including residential treatment for youth, outpatient services for college students and community based treatment for children and families.  I have served clients dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, complex trauma, divorce, parenting issues, ADHD and have provided support to clients who are adjusting to difficult seasons in life.

I am passionate about counseling and believe in empowering people to find healing and strength to move forward in a way that fits wherever they may be in the process. Contact me if you’d like a free 15 minute consultation to see if I might be a good fit for you.
